Koko Head Trail

Listen

Koko Head trail is one of the most known hikes on the side of Hawaii Kai. Beginning at the Koko Head Regional Park, the Koko Crater Hike is known as "Nature's Stairmaster" because of it's long hike consisting of more 1000 steps up the crater side.  The hike path is along the old railway track previously used by military.
Since the beginning of our project it has been one of our goal to inform your followers about the great view of the Koko head mountain as well as the big dangers that it hides. During our visit, we were able to discover a few elements that were unknown to us. In this podcast we will cover a little bit of the history and the original purpose of the rails, the dangers that the hike has and the possible future of the site.
